We offer three rounds of Mandarin group courses each academic year commencing in September, January and May.

Our Mandarin group courses are well-structured from HSK 1 to HSK 5 for £8 per hour, designed for complete beginners to those who wish to enhance their Mandarin proficiency in a systematic and efficient manner. These courses are also perfect for students who aim to participate in the HSK exam, an internationally recognised qualification which assesses the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers from beginner to advanced level. 

To enhance the learning experience and ensure a good start, level 1 (whole) courses are available both in-person and online. Class size 3 -10 students. 

Current LSBU staff and students enjoy a 50% discount (LSBU Price). Current full-time students of other UK universities and colleges enjoy a 20% discount (Ext Price).

The 1-2-1 courses are tailored to accommodate a student's individual needs and requirements. Therefore, this is the perfect option for any student looking for greater flexibility or focus.  Course content can focus on anything from exam preparation to survival Chinese or business Chinese. The time of your class will  be flexible and can be discussed directly with the teacher.

These classes cost only £20 per hour. The first block of 1-2-1 lessons must be purchased as a block of at least 10 hours. After which, lessons can be bought in blocks of 5 hours.
